Sunny Street volunteer roles


Street Support (General community members non clinical):

Engaging in conversations with the public, patient registration, log an appointment, debrief, clinic set up & pack down.

Street Nurse / Paramedic (Registered and Enrolled Nurses / Paramedics – two years of postgrad experience required):

Clinic set up, conversations, patient registration and appointment, health assessments and promotion, wound care, chronic disease education, link in to local services/referrals, flu vaccinations/injections, pack down, debrief.

Street Nurse Practitioners (including specialist skills):

Conversations, patient registration and appointment, clinical assessments, chronic health management, referrals, medication prescriptions and management, management of complex health needs clinic set up and pack down, debrief.

Street Doctor (Doctor/GPs):

Clinic set up, conversations, medical care, patient registration and appointment, prescriptions, Mental Health and Support Plans, referrals, screening, health care education/planning /coordination, pack down, debrief.

Street Allied Health:

Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dentists, Podiatrists and more.
