Community connectivity, through Telehealth. 💛Since launching out of the boot of our car in 2018, Sunny Street's mission has always been to facilitate community connectivity and improve access to health care options. While in many ways, COVID19 has made communities more disconnected than ever, we have developed an opportunity to create these connections in a remote setting through Telehealth. Telehealth video consultations have allowed Sunny Street to connect with people experiencing homelessness, no matter the distance or regulations. Through this software, our healthcare team can provide consults and maintain our precious relationships. On Homelessness Week 2020, we thought it fitting to share with you this special video launching the Telehealth service. An abundance of thanks to @seratonincreative, film director Mark Toia, and Australian actor Damien Garvey for your work, showing this powerful glimpse of Sunny Street's precious space. -----------------------For more details on Telehealth, see below. 💛 Tuesday & Thursday 4:30-8pm 💛 Wednesday 4:30-8:30pmVisit: https://sunnystreet.org/Scroll down on the homepage 👉 'Chat with us now' pink button 🔴We look forward to chatting with you soon 😊Posted by Sunny Street on Sunday, 2 August 2020

WHAT DO WE DO?
Mobile Medical Outreach Service
Specifically for those who are homeless and have little, to no access to proper health care.
This can be one of the most trying and confronting times for someone in this situation.
We want to help give them a glimmer of hope. We want them to know we care. We want to educate them on how we can help.
We want to be positive about their future.
Spread the word – We want to educate the world on the great work we do at Sunny Street. We want people to be interested in finding out more about us. We want them to know we care.
Volunteer – We are always seeking enthusiastic people including nurses and doctors to join our team and help vulnerable people and really make a difference to the community.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to donate medical equipment or for opportunities to create collaborative partnerships and/or sponsorship.
WE HAVE A CLEAR VISION
Break down barriers
We are a team of innovative healthcare disruptors who break down barriers by disabling hierarchy and meeting people where they are at in their healthcare journey.
We empower our Sunny Street community to be authentic in their actions, communications, and relationships to foster genuine connections.
Foundation of gratitude
We deliver palpable kindness and compassion. We maintain self awareness to respectfully ‘lean in’ to a persons experience in a non-judgemental way.
Magic in relationships
We approach work and life with a positive, contagious energy which flows through our relationships within the Sunny Street community. Our team culture is based upon laughter and fun to connect and deliver hope.
Make an Impact
We take our awareness of homelessness and vulnerability and share it with the world. We give a voice to rarely heard people whose stories generate community change through education and research.

WINDO interviews Sunny Street's Founders
Twelve months ago Dr Nova Evans and Sonia Goodwin came to a WINDO International Women's Week Festival event that inspired them to finally take the plunge, leaving their jobs to start Sunny Street, a pioneering service providing mobile healthcare and better options for the homeless and vulnerable in south-east Queensland. At the 'When Sleeping Women Wake, Mountains Move' Community Leadership Conference, Amanda Blennerhassett from Brand Savvy caught up with them to find out more.Thank you to Tiffany Sly - The Art of Modern Real Estate Coaching for taking this video.Posted by Women Initiating New Directions Org WINDO on Wednesday, 6 March 2019
